Recently....

I am kinda excited actually for my studies this year.

It is week 6 now in the academic calender and another 8 weeks to go before final exam and later another 3 weeks of break. After that, on 4th of June, a new story of mine will be written. I'll be undergoing my first internship as an engineer; a chemical engineer to be more accurate.

But right now, I don't really have the mood to study, perhaps due to the long holiday of 4 months previously. I mean I will study of course, but that kind of mood and feeling is not there yet. The first disappointment however is not from this but from the competition I'm involve in currently. Due to some problem, my team might have to pull out from it. Even there's a solution, it is impossible to complete everything in two days as the battle commences on 29th February.

On the other hand, my life is kinda been busy on looking for a company to apply for my internship. Been searching for all kinds of companies online lately, but sent a few out.

Previously my mind is aiming for an oversea internship under PETRONAS, and of course, I prefer to go to anywhere in Europe, as on weekends I could travel around. Although Japan sounds not bad either. It would cool to celebrate my birthday there and might have a chance to enjoy Christmas too if I'm extending my stay. But looking at the condition now, I might get Thailand instead. Well all I can do now is wait for the outcome and hope for the best. Or else, I would need to see if I got a better offer somewhere in KL or Sabah/Sarawak.

Keep hope alive. :)

3 Reasons Why You Remember Someone's Birthday

I guess there's only 3 main or obvious reason why a person will and can remember another's birthday.

Reason #1 - You Care About Them!!!
The logic is very simple. They are your best friends, someone you really care about, somebody you really close with at school or at work, or even he/she is the person you like/used to like. :P

Reason #2 - Their's close to your's
And again, simple. Perhaps their's fall on the same month with you, or within a week or two from yours, that's why you remember it. ;)

Reason #3 - Facebook
Do I really need to explain this? ~.~

5 Things about Being "the friend" for Me

I believe, one can make hundreds of thousands of friends, but there's only some will become someone we closed with, a few would be our best friends, and a small number out of it would and will become the friend that stays long in our lives. Well, at least that's the case for me right now. As it is today, I believe to be that friend, it requires them to be (if possible) all these 5 criteria.

1 - Count on me as i count on you too
It is the basic and the most simple rule, be the one that I can depend on too. I mean, whenever a trouble comes, they won't be the person who always say "I'm sorry I can't" situation but instead something like "I will try my best no matter what" situation. Well, I can be there for anyone under any situation, why wouldn't you?
My situation: Well, there are times where they ask for my help such as there's one asking me to go all the way to Kampar and fetch him back to Teluk Intan. Oh well.... :O

2 - Be able to hang out anytime
When I mean anytime, I do mean anytime on any day (given that you are already 'adult' of course). And we should and could hang out like without any curfew. I might just call you out of sudden and ask "Jom mamak?" or say "Lepak", and you shall never say NO - according to the Bros Code. :) And we must be able to talk on any topic, make any stupid argument in the group and be just us, how cool is that?
My situation: Haha, some fellow will call me late in the night and say "Oi I'm outside, come now and go mamak" Oh well..... :O

3 - Always together no matter how or what
Let me explain in any meaning, which is, we can have road trip to anywhere, stay overnight at one's house, or just anything, even it means everyone is busy after or before that. Shouldn't that be the main point we are hanging out together at first place?
My situation: I went to a friend's place at Kuala Lumpur and then called another guy to come all the way from somewhere far. Remember that one shall never say no? :P

4 - Distance is not and will not be a problem
Nowadays it is about technology and with technology, it connects us to anyone around the world. We can travel, we can use the internet, not forgetting the phone too. Perhaps everyone is busy with their life after leaving high school, but I don't think anyone should simply let the chance of meeting slips away easily. Whenever there's a chance (such as Chinese New Year) why don't just go out and have fun. Or make some time and travel to them. :)
My situation: They don't have time to come back then I go to them, problem solved.

5 - Simply never say NO
I've mention this earlier. As Barney (How I Met Your Mother) said in the show, the Bro will always say yes to anything. Although sometimes it is quite hard to be done, out of our league to get involve, but the word "YES" should come out as support. :P
My situation: Last minute mamak? Ok. Last minute futsal? Ok. Last minute 'fong fei kei'? WTF!!! Although I did ffk sometimes. :P
